We are looking for a shipping and delivery specialist to assist with shipping and receiving operations while ensuring the efficient and safe transportation of goods to and from the business. The ideal candidate will be comfortable driving long distances, managing delivery schedules, and handling shipping/receiving tasks efficiently


Responsibilities

• Safely transport materials to customers while adhering to all safety and compliance regulations
• Pick, package, and ship products according to company and customer specifications
• Receive, inspect, and distribute incoming materials
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Support warehouse operations, including implementing 5-S and lean process improvements

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Personal Characteristics

Knowledge

• Familiarity with manufacturing and/or inventory management.
• Shipping and receiving knowledge preferred, including common logistics practices

Skills

• Experience using Windows-based software including MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience using ERP systems preferred but not required.
• Effective communication with a proven record of solving problems and working with a team.

Abilities

• Ability to complete projects without supervision, and proactively solve problems.
• Ability to move materials with a forklift preferred but not required.
• Capability to safely operate company vehicles and maintain a valid drivers license

Personal Characteristics

• A strong work ethic with the ability to manage changes in priority, schedule, and working hours.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in a warehouse environment on a regular basis.

Qualifications 

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, inventory management, or delivery logistics
• Prior experience in delivery operations.
