Position Summary
Future Comp is looking for problem solvers to join our engineering family. At Future Comp  Manufacturing Engineers spend time developing new product for our customers,  improving process efficiencies, designing and documenting new processes, experimenting with new materials, researching and recommending new equipment, and supporting manufacturing operations.


Salary:
$70,000 - $90,000

  • Experience with CAD software, preferably Solidworks
  • Ability to keep multiple projects moving forward.
  • Attention to detail and ability to communicate professionally
  • Contribute as a team member to a positive work environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Hands on problem-solver
  • Follow established procedures and identify improvements

Responsibilities:

  • Develops new products in conjunction with engineering team and manufacturing operations.
  • Identifies new materials and processes for cost savings opportunities.
  • Carries out process improvement, problem resolution, project management and employee training.
  • Improves manufacturing processes and methods for cost-reduction, quality improvement and efficiency.
  • Prepares and presents plans for the above and coordinate deployment including training of team members.
  • Assists in improving a system of production control, standard operating procedures, safety, quality control and training.
  • Represents engineering on cross-functional teams.
  • Designs, develops, tests, sources, and cost-justifies various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.
  • Performs research, design and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment.
  • Prepares and maintains detailed layouts of buildings and equipment as needed.
  • Coordinates the manufacturing launch of new/revised products including establishing goals, training team members and evaluating results.
  • Performs product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.
